By the start of 2015 season, ARUS was already widely known in the University of Seville after the massive progress the team had made in such a short period of time. This gave the team new hopes and encouraged the board to set ambitious goals, optimising resources and increasing the amount of team members up to 50, so they could be more specialised, which would translate into higher quality designs.

Unfortunately, all these design changes meant that the car almost started from scratch, which caused that it was not able to pass scrutineering at FSG. However, ARUS did not give up after the hard blow suffered in Germany, and was able to efficiently fix everything that was required in order to succeed at Formula Student Spain scrutineering.

After the hard work made to get the car on the track, it was able to get some decent results, and almost finish the Endurance once again, doing 22 laps. But probably the highlight of the competition was a Top 20 result on the Engineering Design event, where the changes made to the car and internal team management were positively evaluated by the judges.

Some of the new technical features of the ART-15 were a new intake system and the usage of carbon fiber tubes for suspension system, which unfortunately had to be replaced by steel tubes before FSS due to problems in testing just before the competition. The weight of car went down to 243 kg despite now having a complete aerodynamic package.
